  1. I did enjoy the movie but they cut it way to much. I believe the directors cut version will be very good. But like you said as long as they continue in this trend they’ll be fine

    • Thanks for the response! Absolutely… a step in the right direction. Really my only criticism was the color palette of the final battle sequence. Too “busy” and not enough contrast. Everything blended together in a blob of red. Otherwise a really fun movie!

      • That’s really not overpowered for Superman, typically. There have been times in the comics (and the 1978 movie) where he could push planets around or spin the earth backward and reverse time. He’s always been one of the most powerful heroes in DC, which is why I think writers sometimes feel a particular challenge in trying to write stories that will stretch even Superman’s abilities. I’d hazard a guess and say that’s why some of Superman’s biggest villains are either smarter than him or have the ability to use Kryptonite against him. I’d love to see a Brainiac, Metallo, etc. in the next Man of Steel movie. Use a villain we haven’t seen in a live-action movie before.

      • And I also heard the same about the black suit. I believe you’re right that it was one of the parts trimmed to make it a 2 hour film.
